Roadside stop, M4

Along the highways, there used to be diners that served curries and vegetarian entrees. Now there are huge, mall-like centers of commerce, similar to those in NJ. I mean, seriously, Krispy Kreme?

Get a look, though, at the hat on that child. Love it. Also loving: the individual litter bins on each table, the odd vending machines in the bathroom, and--OMG--the West Cornwall Pasties! That truck had steak & stilton pasties, lamb & mint pasties, chicken & basil pasties, "traditional" (ground meat stew) pasties, and great big, flakey sausage rolls.
