Marks & Sparks

By nearly pure accident, we found ourselves at a Marks & Spencer's in St. Albans while we were seeking a giant Tesco. Thinking the now-christened-M&S might have cell phones for sale, we entered.

Of course, what we emerged with did not include a mobile, which M&S, for the record, does not carry. I did get a variety of British undergarments (can't beat them for fit) and some Lancashire cheese. Tried to get a Battenburg cake, and they were all out!

In the pics below, you can see the M&S logo, not too exciting, and the contrast in size between a British van and a "standard" one. Then a couple of gorgeous flower arrangements for sale in the grocery section--nothing like what's available at Stop &Shop.
