Vic traveled down the beach a few days ago and saw a cliff forming where the ocean was eroding a man-made dune. A day later he went back and saw that, where an NPS vehicle had been able to drive past a staircase the day before, it could no longer. There wasn't enough room in front of the staircase.
Now the staircase is unusable, and parts of the beach are inaccessible. This all in the space of three days—and the full moon isn't until tomorrow.
How come no journalists down here are covering this story? Is it an annual, unavoidable event?
