Penzance, which we love

We arrived in Penzance on Sunday afternoon. Its waterfront is gorgeous and has a tidal swimming pool (closed until the warmer weather), a dry dock, some lovely buildings, a marina, a railway...yet it isn't crowded, at least not in early April.

Our first peek, from atop a hill in Newlyn:

To the left of the square building, the Scillonian, the ferry to the Scillies!
