First encounter with Sophia's

We had seen a sign advertising Sophia's Cafe earlier in the day, but my foot was aggravating me and it was too great a distance. We decided to give the place a go that night because the advert looked kind of cool, and because most of the other restaurants on the promenade were Very Traditional.

Omigosh, were we glad we went. I had a lovely Cornish fish trio, lemon sole, plaice (flounder), and haddock. Each filet was prepared perfectly, only just cooked through and melt-in-your-mouth fresh. Victor had Greek meatballs, with feta running through each. We felt like we'd hit a motherlode, with the meal in St. Just the night before and then this yummy concoction in Penzance.

We were the only diners, so we had a good chat with Sophia.
