Turtle nest!

While we were at Oregon Inlet, we saw what appeared to be turtle tracks. Moving on to a National Park Service wildlife habitat, we showed the pics to a ranger. He got right on the phone to a turtle specialist, who is going to close that section of beach! Looking at the paper later in the day, we discovered that it's probably the third turtle nest on the Outer Banks to date this year. There's one on Ocracoke, one at Cape Point (where Hatteras Island turns west), and now one at Oregon Inlet, the top tip of Hatteras.

Below, pics of the tracks, and pics of the turtles at the habitat.
