Terrible name for a house, but it's wonderfully comfortable. We went first to Conner's, an independent grocery that, while small, stocks a good number of organic and harder-to-find items. Weirdly, this trip they didn't have Roma tomatoes, hazelnuts, or Kalamata olives. We had to conclude our spree at Food Lion, where we nabbed a South African pinotage blend as well.
On we went to the Hatteras Realty offices and then to the house. It's a salmon-y orange, in the Miami/Key West style that I hate to see down here. A lot of the previously pastel and mint-shade homes have been, happily, re-painted in natural colors! Yea! Below is our front porch, and then a view from the screen porch (on the right in the front-porch image). Can you see the ocean?
