These are the plants that are budding in my Gloucester garden right now. The first picture is of our wisteria, which seems especially late to bloom this year. The peony pic features the new gas meter.
The last pic is of an unknown flowering shrub, provided by my Dad, against the pale leaves of our mock orange. I don't think that the mock orange is happy in that spot; hence the pale leaves. But it provides a nice contrast to the shrub!
Note: Saw at a garden center on June 5 that the shrub is a mountain laurel.
