These pictures span the space of two weeks. First the plants are in bud; then they feather open, bottom to top. I *think* the second set depict Goat's Beard; the plant tag is missing. Whatever it is, it's similar enough to Astilbe that its flowers' adornments parallel the shape of the paler Astilbe flowers.
