Hope the fisherfolk/lobstermen didn't mind me snapping these pics as we sailed past. I tend to hate feeling like background for tourists' photographs, or even like foreground for same. I wanted to yell, "It's OK, I live here!" Doubt that would have helped.
And here is my yard, or the blooms and produce in my yard at the moment. I also have lots of yellow and didn't photograph anything yellow. Why? Who knows. I feel like everything LOOKS so yellow that I have to document the other shades.
For the record, the yellow is perennial sunflower, black-eyed susan, and something of which I don't know the name that creates sprays of ecru, next to my blue bush (pics of that 2 below).
We've had two glorious sailing adventures, last weekend and this weekend, with enough wind that we heeled and felt like we were really cruising. I took several pictures from the boat.
I keep seeing these sectioned logs and finally took a picture. They've been in place for more than a year, developing those interiors. I love the curlicues.
We went sailing over the weekend and witnessed this sailboat race among Rhodes 19s. The last time we went sailing, we saw a very similar race -- Rhodes 19s, same colors. Wonder if they're using any weekend with a breeze. Very cool.
